EXCITING NEWS - Free Wellness Consult

Only a few of you know that recently I decided to turn one of my passions, namely essential oils, to be part of my journey in a way that I don't just use the oils myself, but started to share, promote and help others to use these natural wonders as part of their healthy habits repertoire. What does that mean exactly?

I have been using essential oils for 8 years already, so I gathered loads of positive experience with them. Since my daughter, Zenke was born it is part of our daily routine now. I have joined doTerra, a top essential oil company as a Wellness Advocate, therefore from now on you can read about the benefits of the essential oils on this page, plus if you are interested in trying them, or use them for yourself, family, kids (highly recommended), you can book a wellness consult with me (for free) and will talk about possible solutions for you and your loved ones. Hope this makes you excited!

Since this week I am sharing about how to #trust, today I am going to share my favorite essential oils that can help you with staying centered, grounded and aligned with yourself. (I will write more and more about the company and how essential oil work exactly, no worries!)

The first oil coming to my mind is doTerra's Reassuring blend called #Peace. The name speaks for itself, this beautiful essential oil blend has a calming effect through a combination of essential oils like Vetiver, Lavender, Ylang Ylang, Frankincense and Clary Sage. Every time I feel out of balance, my heart being closed to the love of life, I use Peace, massage it to the center of my chest, to my heart center or to the base of my skull and it promotes feelings of reassurance and contentment while counteracting anxious and fearful emotions.

#Lavender is kind of the jolly joker of essential oils as it can be used in a wide variety of cases. Speaking about its emotional benefits, renowned for its calming and relaxing properties, many people use Lavender oil for emotional health because it promotes soothing feelings of calm and self-awareness, while easing feelings of tension. Some studies suggest that the chemical properties of Lavender may make it useful for reducing sad feelings. The good news is that it can also be safely used with kids of all ages. You may diffuse it in a room or put a few drops on your pillow before going to sleep or massage it to your neck, temples to help you relax.

Perhaps not an obvious choice, but the third oil I picked is #Bergamot. While I was never truly enthusiastic about Earl Grey Tea (that includes bergamot), the moment I smelled this essential oil I was captivated. Bergamot is a citrus oil, and is uplifting and brightening in nature. Smelling the oil is an invitation to clear away constricting thoughts while welcoming self-acceptance and self-love. As the oil of self-acceptance it is said to relive feelings of self-judgement and low self-esteem. (Perhaps that's why it is one of my favorites!) This makes it a great 3rd chakra oil.

"Bergamot's highest gift is to assist in staying with our own experience and to be ever open, curious and in wonder about each moment of life as it arises, each now as it unfolds - without the burden of previous feelings and concepts." (Peter Holmes)

Sounds great, doesn't is? Dilute this oil if you use it topically, use it on the back of the neck, behind the ears, in your hair or even on your clothing. Whether at work or at home (perhaps these are the same lately you can use a diffuser to keep you alert and centered. I love using it while practicing and teaching yoga to invite feelings of joyfulness and positivity.

+ BONUS: I could not resist to add one more blend, especially for yogis called #Anchor. doTerra's Anchor Steadying Blend is designed to calm the mind and soothe the body, helping you stay connected to yourself, your environment, your personal goals, and your daily activities. create a grounding blend. This oils makes you feel grounded through Lavender, Cedarwood, and Frankincense as the primary oils in this blend, but Black Pepper, Cinnamon, Patchouli, Sandalwood, and Fractionated Coconut Oil are also included in smaller amounts. One way you can use doTERRA Anchor is by applying the blend to the ankles, base of the spine, and bottoms of feet before a yoga session. You might also try diffusing the blend to enjoy its aromatic benefits whenever you are feeling scattered or uprooted. It's a perfect oil to use for meditation. While this blend is great to use during yoga practice, you can experience the same benefits using it anytime during the day.

While I do not believe these oils in themselves will solve any major emotional issues happening in my life, they immensely help until I go through. So why not use these oils as they can take us to places and spaces where we feel relaxed, peaceful, confident and happy?
